In efforts to help our friends to the west that were greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene, we have created a clothing fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to The Salvation Army in the areas with funds going directly to this cause. Please take a look at our shop and help if you can!
Be The Village
Here at Move, Learn, Play, Inc. we find value in helping children and youth that have been involved in the foster care system. This year 20,000 young individuals will exit foster care without a family. When these youth are adopted prior to exiting foster care, it gives them the opportunity to join a family that can offer stability, support, and a sense of belonging.
In efforts to support local teens in care, we are hosting an ongoing BE THE VILLAGE t-shirt/accessories fundraiser! All proceeds will go to youth enrolled in the Pender County 18-21 year old foster care program to assist with their transition to college, work, and/or young adulthood. Donations collected will be made in November 2024 for Adoption Awareness Month.
